Built by gamers, for the win.
What started as a single LAN room above a Flinders Lane cafe is now Melbourne’s most-booked gaming destination. Here is how the Empire grew.
- 2016
The First 8 Rigs
Two friends pooled their savings, leased a tiny room near Flinders Lane and set up eight overclocked PCs for late-night CS clutches and Friday LAN parties.
- 2019
Little Collins Flagship
Demand outgrew the room. We took over a 600sqm space at 57 Little Collins Street and built a dedicated 120-seat tournament stage with broadcast-grade lighting.
- 2022
Racing & VR Wing
Twelve full-motion racing rigs and a free-roam VR arena were added, turning HyperSpin into a venue for stags, corporate nights and birthday bookings alike.
- 2025
Oceanic Esports Hub
We now host ranked qualifiers for Valorant, Rocket League and Tekken, broadcasting to thousands across the Asia-Pacific each season from the main stage.
Pick your battleground.
Every session includes a free locker, filtered energy drinks at cost, and a crew member to get you set up. Prices in AUD.

Loved by the local scene.
Real words from the squads, racers and event crews who call HyperSpin home.
Booked the squad pod for our Valorant grind night and the 240Hz monitors are unreal. The crew had us set up and queued in under five minutes.
The direct-drive racing rigs ruined every other sim centre for me. Spent two hours chasing the leaderboard and didn’t want to leave.
We ran our company’s end-of-year night on the tournament stage. The shoutcasters made our finance team feel like esports pros. Brilliant.
Hosted my son’s 14th in a console lounge — six kids, FIFA on a giant OLED and snacks on tap. Easiest birthday I have ever thrown.
Questions, answered.
Everything you need before you walk through the doors on Little Collins Street.
Walk-ins are always welcome and we keep stations free for them. That said, Friday and Saturday nights fill fast, so we recommend booking your battlestation or racing bay online a day or two in advance to guarantee your slot.
We are open Monday to Thursday from 10am to 11pm, Friday and Saturday from 9am until 1am, and Sunday from 10am to 10pm. Tournament nights may run later — check the event listing for exact finish times.
Players of all ages are welcome during the day. After 8pm the venue becomes 15+, and our licensed bar area is strictly 18+. Under-15s are welcome any time when accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Absolutely. We run birthday, corporate and stag/hens packages with dedicated lounges, catering and an event host. Packages start from $1,400 for a half-day — get in touch through the contact form and we will build a quote for your group.
There is no on-site parking, but the Wilson car park on Little Collins is a 90-second walk away, and we are a five-minute stroll from both Parliament and Melbourne Central stations.
